How much time in advance should I book an appointment?
We have medical appointments available within 24 hours of their request.
What should I bring to the appointment?
The day of your appointment, you should attend with your ID, health insurance card, your physician’s order/prescription, prior insurance authorization (if needed) and previous studies (if you have any).
What should I take into consideration when undertaking a MRI?
You must not have a pacemaker, hearing aids or any other metallic element in your body. It is important to keep credit cards, watches or any other metal accessory that may be demagnetized, away from the MRI machine.
In case I don’t have a health insurance, can I have these studies carried out by paying for them in a private way?
Yes, you can have these studies performed through private payment.
Do I need any preparation before an MRI or a CT scan WITHOUT contrast?
No, you don’t. There is no previous preparation required.
Do I need any preparation before an MRI or a CAT scan WITH contrast?
No, you don’t. There is no previous preparation required.
How can I get a copy of my studies?
After having the studies carried out, the results will be directly sent to your physician for him/her to give you a proper feedback. In case you wish to obtain a CD with a copy of your study images, you may get one upon request.
